Cocktails on the house

This is what was going on in my head during the paper....
I'm sure Floyd would be proud of me, and my selective quote from memory!

Floyd, a stuffy nose, almost there Mr. 100 degrees F, major sleep deprivation and an exam... a potent mix(?), if there was one!

Hello?
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there anyone at home?
Come on, now,
Newborn day.
Midnight blue turned to gray.
Midnight blue burning gold.
A yellow moon is growing cold.
Lucifer go to sea.
Be a hip cat
Be a ship's cat.
Somewhere, anywhere.
That cat's something I can't explain.
A movement is accomplished in six stages
And the seventh brings return.
Ooooh, I need a dirty woman.
Ooooh, I need a dirty girl.
The lunatic is in my head.
The lunatic is in my head
You raise the blade, you make the change
You re-arrange me 'til I'm sane.
You lock the door
And throw away the key
There's someone in my head but it's not me.
I want to tell you a story
About a little man
If I can.
You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world.
I'll give you anything, everything if you want things.
Climb your favorite apple tree
Try to catch the sun
Hide from your little brother's gun
Dream yourself away
Why can't we reach the sun
Why can't we blow the years away
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.
Mrs. Clegg, you must be proud of him
Mrs. Clegg, another drop of gin.
and everything under the sun is in tune
but the sun is eclipsed by the moon.
You set sail across the sea
Of long past thoughts and memories.
Childhood's end, your fantasies
Merge with harsh realities.
What shall we use
To fill the empty spaces
Where we used to talk?
How shall I fill
The final places?
How should I complete the wall
Goodbye, blue sky
Goodbye, blue sky.
Goodbye.
Goodbye.
Goodbye.

Mine are a long way off... the exams get over only on the 18th of Dec... and then add 10 to 12 weeks for the result!

Do we have to be talking about results!!!

Danny, we don't have to talk about the results. Anyway, except Lover, Saturday and G, no one gets results worth talking about. Gwad... I just realied all you guys will be together after college, I'll be the one who's alone, either in the US, or at the job! It doesn't help Bi wants to do her masters in oceanography as against electrical !!

Btw, we don't have to talk about this stuff also, its meant to be spoken in July-August '05. But the other day, me and Agent R were talking about the fact that I actually am getting emotionally attached to all you guys and the college and the profs - me ! Who didn't get attached to anything related to a school I was in for 12 years!

Another thing I just realised... the medly (!) of songs could work out as a song in itself with a little juggling of the music, ading a couple of interludes to make it sound like one piece!

K... Medley of songs??? That is what the Music directors are doing now. Taking pieces of music from many songs and composing them into one.

  • At 2:42 PM, December 02, 2004, Blogger Daneshia said…

    Which medley of songs?

K, don't worry, you are just becoming more human :D

Sudhakar, I know. And that really peevs me about music these days! Never the less, once I had heard of a medly of Lata Mangeshkar, a 20 minute piece done for some concert somewhere, and that was really awesome!

Danny, what you read in the post is a mixture of the lyrics of multiple songs i.e a medly! And I'm *becoming* human, which would mean I was........ ?

Dan.. So What was K b4?
K.. I believe u r human. Afterall other beings can't type meaningful(?) sentences.

K, of course I know what's a medley. But I didn't know these songs, so I assumed it was one complete song.
I just said you're becoming "more" human. Emotions and attachment are considered to be human characteristics.
Now this can start off a debate - Does that mean plants and animals do not have emotions?

K.. has good sense of meaningful(again a ?) humour that itself can make her more human than any other characteristics. Am I r8, K?

    Sudhakar,

Afterall other beings can't type meaningful(?) sentences. The phrase you're looking for is logically connectedAnd yes the humour does make me human. I am human. I am human. I will repeat that till it sinks in and I believe I am human. I used to think I was some sort of a PJ generating machine from the Microsoft labs. Microsoft labs beause humour suddenly goes away at times and you're left wondering what to do. Only you can't hit ctrl+alt+del here.

That could also mean I'm a P+iJ generating machine. With the Joke part of what I say always being imaginary!

Danny never mind. Its okay if you didn't know those songs. As long as you know M. Kulkarni throughly, that what really matters now! More so, since "there's always next sem" philosophy is coming to end if we need to graduate in 2005!

The debate sounds good. Why not make a post, and we'll all debate on it! create the third monster!

Hey Phal... I didn't grow up. I swear I didn't. It was just a temporary bout of permanant insanity. Since the insanity is permanent I'm afraid it might just keep coming back. Thats okay tho'. It makes people think I'm human and all that! I feel so happy! SO S-I-M-P-L-Y H-H-A-A-P-P-P-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
