The most unbelievale things!!
We've always come across sections that proudly proclaim "Kids say the most un-believable things" or something to that effect. Here's a new one, "Mom's say the most un-believable things"!
Me and my mom were gossiping over chai, and suddenly my mom realises that I'm not studying in the leave "for personal reasons" that I've taken from office. Then she says, "beta, ya to aap padh lo, ya phir shaadi karo. Nahi to saari jawani yu hi tanhai mein dhal jayegi". I was more than just stumped!! (Non-hindi readers, I'm extremely sorry. The statement is one that would get lost in translation. I did make an attempt, however the translation was pretty sad!)

Well yes! But kids say those things without realising the implications. Which, in this case, didn't apply!

UFO, padhai se tanhai ka no relation. Shaadi se tanhai ka relation hai. Shaadi hogi, pati hoga, chaandini raatein hongi.... etc etc etc!!!

Ok that way...I thought, since the two were presented as alternatives, there might have been some relation. I suffer from SLD you see ;)

UFO, they were alternatives because
1. Either *I* study and gain something in life... do something useful yada yada yada
2. Otherwise get married and atleast *enjoy* life!!
Makes sense now?
Never mind if it doesn't. Mom's don't have to always make sense!

Wait till your mom sees this! :P
I wonder what my mom would say, if she sees me reading blogs at this hour, instead of studying (which leads ppl to gain sth in life according to moms) or sleeping (which is the best form of enjoyment I indulge into).

Don't wonder... give me your mom's number, the next time i'll give her and call and ask her to spy on you. Then you would figure out what exactly she would say if she see's you reading blogs at an un-blog-reading-hour :D

Some secrets are better left unrevealed. Don't you think so?

UFO, Some are better if you reveal them all around and tell the others to shut up about it. And then go back and tell them that you've revealed the secret, but that in itself is supposed to be a secret. And further inform the revealed party that you've revealed that you've revealed the secret, but that is supposed to be a secret. lol!!!!!!!

Ummm...feeling dizzy at at so many revelations in one go!
BTW in my case I didn't have any secrets to reveal, rather something had to be revealed to me. Currently enjoying the bliss of suspense... :)

What formalities? I've a really lousy sister called Dan in pune, who is good for nothing. We'll ask her to complete atleast these formalities.
