Micro Story#5

Lets Play Pretend.

Diya was this young chirpy girl. One day she attained enlightenment - the world is not worth her. Human beings are sick. Diya was known for being chirpy and friendly and lively. Hence, even though it killed her from inside, she was still chirpy and friendly and bubbly… because she pretended that she liked the world. I'd call her "Pepsi". Playing pretend gave her a high. A high unparalled by either narcotics or sex. Not that she tried either. She was playing pretend on this Railway track with her boyfriend. She'd pretend to be really happy with him. He'd pretend to love her... or maybe he did. Or maybe he didn't. Because he never told her of the train he heard and she didn't. Was it because she was told him "Let's play pretend... I’m deaf, maybe? ". And the train of course wasn't playing pretend.

End of Story.

and are u gonna dedicate this to some one ... ;)

IS this story related to ur story.
    ??

Aryan.. a punk to be frank, didn't even believe he can love her so much. So much so that he had changed his entire world for her. She is a crazy girl.. never take serious of anything.
He told her many times that he loves her sincerely. She keep telling him, "Oh baby.. me too". He knows she is still playing her favourite game of pretending with him.
The only thing he dont know is How to tell her to take him serious. He decided to stand up to her, and prove his love. The day has come when she asked him to join her in pretending to commit suicide to prove his love. They were on the track, in next few minutes, and he knows this was the day, he was waiting for. She said, "I am gonna pretend Deaf, as well" and put on her IPod earphones. He knows she wants him to quit, this pretend game, and show that he is not sincere. His heart stopped for a second, when he heard the SIREN. Yes its the train. "Should i stop this game, and say good bye to her?". The thought of leaving her, was worse when compared to dying here. There were only few seconds left. She was facing him, and she was not aware of anything. He told her, I love you. She can see only his lip movement, and replied back, as usual, "me too... Love you baby". There were tears in Aryans eyes as he could not get words from her heart, even at his last few moments of life. He pushed her away from the track suddenly.
Before she could understand anything, it was over. Now she can play pretend as if she had never met him. As if she dint see anything. She can marry someone, and live happily pretending as if she dint fall in love with anyone.
Aryan will be there in the air, to soothe her when she stop pretending.
    He will wait.
