Micro Story#6
Futility of Darning.
With a needle, and a couple of shots (or were they multi-coloured threads?), she tried to darn her life, which had been through a paper shredder, multiple times over. After an enternity, she figured it was futile and what made more sense was to shred those veins too. If you can't beat them, join them - was the line of reasoning. Unfortunately, just one slit was all she could manage.
As life flowed out of her, she finally fell asleep.
---
Note to readers: Do not try to darn anything at home. I tried to darn my denims once. What I finally had was localised polka dots all over. :(
